Stored script execution via unsanitized configuration name

Published Jan 30, 2026 · Updated Jan 30, 2026

Stored XSS in the D-Link DSL-6641K N8.TR069.20131126 web interface allows remote authenticated users to execute script in browsers. The ad_virtual_server_vdsl page stores the Name field directly in its configuration string without validation or output encoding, then renders it on later page views. Administrative access to the router interface is required to save a payload, and script execution occurs when the stored configuration page is viewed.
