Subscriber-level SQL injection via unsafe AJAX query
Published Aug 9, 2026 · Updated Aug 9, 2026
SQL injection in CubeWP Framework before 1.1.31 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database queries through an AJAX action. The cubewp_remove_relation action placed request IDs into SQL without integer casting or prepared statements and lacked an object-level capability check. Subscriber-level access reaches the action, enabling attacker-controlled statements within the database permissions granted to WordPress.
