CVE-2026-17016Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated payment bypass via unchecked PDT amount

Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026

Payment bypass in Accept PayPal & Stripe with Subscriptions for WooCommerce 3.1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to underpay orders. The PayPal Data Transfer return handler accepts PayPal's completed status and marks the WooCommerce order paid without comparing the transaction amount with the stored order total. Exploitation requires PDT to be enabled with a valid identity token and functional postbacks, and it changes order integrity without disclosing data or interrupting service.
