Reviewer-browser script execution via unescaped post metadata
Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026
Stored XSS in Communitycom, Inc. Saitama Addon Pack 1.0.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in a reviewer's browser. When both disabled-by-default GA & SEO options are enabled, the plugin echoes contributor-controlled Meta Keywords and Meta Description values into wp-admin editor fields without context-appropriate escaping. Contributor access is sufficient, but execution requires a higher-privileged user to open the pending post; the payload does not execute on the front end.
