Editor-level secret disclosure via unredacted inline configuration
Published Aug 6, 2026 · Updated Aug 6, 2026
Information disclosure in Meow Apps AI Engine before 3.6.4 allows remote authenticated users with Editor access to read stored secrets. The plugin serializes unredacted API keys and bearer tokens into an inline configuration blob delivered with WordPress administration pages. Editor privileges and an active plugin are required; the disclosure reveals administrator-restricted credentials, while public-API token reuse also requires that non-default feature to be enabled.
