Host code execution via missing interface authorization

Missing authorization in IBM Power Systems Firmware allows local users with BMC/FSP service access to execute arbitrary code on the host. The BMC/FSP-to-host interface does not authorize a privileged service-processor operation before host execution, and IBM has not disclosed the message or handler. Exploitation requires service-account or root access to the BMC/FSP on FW1120.00, FW1110.00 through FW1110.30, or FW1060.00 through FW1060.80 and grants control of the host and its partitions.
