CVE-2026-1686Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated memory corruption via unchecked apcliSsid copy

Published Jan 30, 2026 · Updated Jan 30, 2026

A stack-based buffer overflow in TOTOLINK A3600R 5.9c.4959 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via apcliSsid. setAppEasyWizardConfig obtains apcliSsid from an HTTP request with websGetVar and passes it to strcpy without checking its length against a 32-byte stack buffer. Low-privileged access to the management interface is required, and overwriting adjacent stack memory permits a process crash or control-flow corruption.
