CVE-2026-16802

Secret disclosure via cleartext variables.ps1 storage

Published Jul 24, 2026 · Updated Jul 24, 2026

Cleartext secret storage in Devolutions PowerShell Universal 2026.2.2 and earlier allows local users to read secrets from variables.ps1. When no vault is selected, the variables feature writes secret variables into variables.ps1 on disk without protecting their values.
