Browser script execution via unescaped project shortcode
Published Sep 1, 2026 · Updated Sep 1, 2026
Stored XSS in Live Composer Page Builder 2.1.19 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through a project shortcode. The dslc_module_projects_output renderer emits fields including view_all_link and button_text without output escaping after shortcode-aware KSES filtering preserves the serialized body. Contributor-level access is required to store a payload, which runs in the browser of anyone who opens the affected page.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
