Uncontrolled recursion in Autodesk 3ds Max 2026 and 2027 allows attackers to crash the application via a crafted SVG file. The SVG parser recurses on attacker-controlled content until the process stack is exhausted; Autodesk has not identified the responsible function. Exploitation requires a user to open the file in 3ds Max and is bounded to application termination with no reported data disclosure or code execution.
