Unauthenticated transcript exfiltration via unchecked email destination
Published Jul 28, 2026 · Updated Jul 28, 2026
Sensitive information exposure in QuantumCloud WPBot 8.5.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to exfiltrate stored chat transcripts and user PII. The unauthenticated wpbot_send_email_transcript_free AJAX handler accepts a requester-supplied destination address and emails records from the wpbot_user and wpbot_conversation tables without verifying identity or transcript ownership. Any network client that can reach WordPress AJAX can obtain names, email addresses, phone numbers, and conversation content; no account or user interaction is required.
