CVE-2026-16769Public exploit

BLE pairing interruption via plaintext pause request

Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026

Denial of service in Silicon Labs WiSeConnect SDK 2.0.0 through 2.. allows physically proximate attackers to interrupt BLE pairing. The BLE controller accepts an unencrypted pause-encryption request after public-key exchange and fails to finish pairing. The attacker must inject traffic while the peripheral first pairs with another device; repeated packets prolong the interruption and drain the battery.
