Information disclosure via unrestricted interface binding
Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 13, 2026
Information disclosure in IBM Documentation Offline 1.0.0 through 1.4.1 allows remote attackers to read sensitive data over an adjacent network. The embedded Node.js documentation server binds its listening sockets to all available interfaces instead of the local loopback address. Unauthenticated adjacent-network access is sufficient to reach documentation exposed by the server; IBM reports no integrity or availability impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
