Subscriber-level script execution via unescaped Facebook profile URL
Published Aug 1, 2026 · Updated Aug 1, 2026
Stored XSS in Easy Property Listings 3.5.24 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through a Facebook profile URL. The plugin stores the facebook user-contact value without sufficient sanitization and inserts it into author-box social links without output escaping. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; the payload runs in the browser of anyone who views an affected author box, enabling actions in that viewer's session.
