Authenticated code execution via untrusted search path
Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 13, 2026
Code execution in IBM's integrated operating system releases 7.3 through 7.6 allows remote authenticated users to run arbitrary code. IBM identifies WebSphere Application Server Liberty as the affected component but does not disclose the routine, attacker-controlled path, or resource loaded from the unsafe search path. A valid remote account is required, and successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied code with the vulnerable service's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
