Reflected XSS via unvalidated test-script input
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Reflected XSS in Drupal Search API Autocomplete before 1.12.0 allows remote attackers to execute script through an anonymously accessible test script. The search_api_autocomplete_test_custom_autocomplete_callback() endpoint accepts invalid input, and PHP warning output reflects that input without safe handling. Exploitation requires displayed warning messages and user interaction, allowing script execution in the affected page's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
