Local command execution via unescaped dependency name

OS command injection in Syncfusion Essential JS 2 33.2.0 through 33.2.3 allows local users to execute commands via package.json. The syncfusion-license validate CLI concatenates a dependency name and version read from package.json into an npm view command passed to child_process.exec without shell escaping. Execution requires the CLI to run in an attacker-controlled project directory, and injected commands inherit the validating process's privileges.
