Unauthenticated private-post disclosure via unchecked post status
Published Aug 5, 2026 · Updated Aug 5, 2026
Information disclosure in WP Chill Passster before 4.3.6 allows remote attackers to read non-public posts through a captcha REST endpoint. The captcha handler accepts a valid provider token and post ID, then returns raw post content without checking whether the post status permits public access. Exploitation requires a configured captcha provider and a provider-accepted token; it exposes draft, private, or pending content without altering it.
