CVE-2026-16597Network attack vector

Unauthenticated JavaScript execution via guest billing fields

Published Jul 29, 2026 · Updated Jul 29, 2026

Stored XSS in Google Tag Manager for WordPress 1.22.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to run JavaScript through guest checkout billing fields. The WooCommerce integration reads guest-order billing values and frontend data-layer generation emits them into inline script without context-appropriate escaping. Guest checkout supplies the payload without authentication, but execution requires the order-data integration and a later user to load the affected page.
