Unauthenticated SQL injection via unescaped tid cookie
Published Aug 3, 2026 · Updated Aug 3, 2026
SQL injection in the ajohnwaters LogMyTrip WordPress plugin through 1.9 allows remote attackers to read database data via a crafted tid cookie. A shortcode-rendering code path places the cookie value into a database query without sanitization or escaping. No authentication is required, but a request must reach a page that renders a plugin shortcode; the published impact is limited to database confidentiality.
