Unauthenticated listing modification via unchecked object reference
Published Feb 18, 2026 · Updated Feb 18, 2026
Authorization bypass in Business Directory Plugin 6.4.20 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify arbitrary directory listings. The wpbdp_ajax handler accepts a directly referenced listing ID and reaches the listing-update path without verifying that the requester owns or may edit that listing. No account is required; crafted requests can overwrite listing titles, content, and email addresses, while the published impact is limited to integrity.
