Unauthenticated database disclosure via link URL injection
Published Aug 3, 2026 · Updated Aug 3, 2026
SQL injection in Yannick Lefebvre Link Library before 7.9.3 allows remote attackers to read and modify the WordPress database. The front-end add-link form passes the link_url value through sanitize_url(), which strips spaces but leaves SQL syntax, before placing it in a duplicate-link query. A public submission form under default settings is sufficient; an anonymous request can alter query logic and use a time-delay oracle to extract database values.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
