Daemon denial of service via PDU overflow

Signed integer overflow in PCP on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 through 10 allows remote attackers to disable PCP daemons via crafted PDUs. In __pmGetPDU(), an extreme PDU length overflows the maxsize calculation to a negative value, causing every later __pmFindPDUBuf call to fail. Exploitation requires reachable pmlogger or SASL-enabled pmcd; both listeners bind to loopback by default, and the failure persists until daemon restart.
