DLL hijacking in GeoVision GV-IP Device Utility 9.0.7.0 allows local users to execute code through an unsafe library search path. The Windows desktop application searches an attacker-writable location before the legitimate DLL location and loads a planted library, although GeoVision does not name the DLL or loading function. Exploitation requires low local privileges and user interaction, and the injected code runs with the victim application's privileges.
