Authenticated command execution via OS command injection
Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026
OS command injection in IBM DataStage on Cloud Pak for Data 5.4.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. IBM identifies improper neutralization of user-supplied input before it reaches an operating-system command, but does not disclose the affected endpoint, parameter, or function. Access to an authenticated DataStage account is required, and injected commands execute in the security context of the affected DataStage service.
