CVE-2026-16465

Crash and information disclosure via malformed drawings

Published Jul 29, 2026 · Updated Jul 29, 2026

Out-of-bounds read in Autodesk AutoCAD products before 2026.1.2 or 2027.1 allows attackers to crash the process or read sensitive data. The DWG and DXF parser reads beyond an allocated buffer when it processes a maliciously crafted drawing, but Autodesk has not named the affected routine or structure. Exploitation requires a local user to open or import the file; reported consequences are limited to a process crash and disclosure of process-accessible information.
