Unauthenticated administrator takeover via attacker-selected password reset
Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026
Improper privilege management in ThemetechMount FoodBoxBooker before 1.0.7 allows remote attackers to reset arbitrary user passwords. The public fbbttm_resetpass and account_edit_formsubmit AJAX actions accept an attacker-selected user ID and replacement password while relying on anonymously obtainable nonces; the latter path also accepts an empty current password. No credentials, cookies, or non-default configuration are required, and targeting an administrator grants control of the WordPress site.
