CVE-2026-16280

Arbitrary physical-memory access via truncated PMR offsets

Published Jul 24, 2026 · Updated Jul 24, 2026

Integer overflow in Imagination Technologies Graphics DDK allows local users to read or write arbitrary physical memory via GPU system calls. _PMRLogicalOffsetToPhysicalOffset truncates physical-offset calculations to 32 bits while resolving sparse PMRs larger than 4 GB, producing incorrect GPU MMU mappings. Locally installed software running as a non-privileged user can reach the kernel-module path; resulting mappings expose memory outside the intended buffer.
