SSH data manipulation via weak MAC algorithms
Published Feb 27, 2026 · Updated Feb 27, 2026
Weak MAC algorithms in SICK LMS1000 and MRS1000 firmware 2.4.0 and earlier allow man-in-the-middle attackers to alter SSH data. The devices' SSH service permits outdated message-authentication algorithms that do not reliably protect the integrity of transmitted session data. Exploitation requires interaction with network traffic and an active SSH session; the vendor reports integrity impact only.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
