Unauthenticated account takeover via unverified identity data
Published Aug 2, 2026 · Updated Aug 2, 2026
Improper authentication in Huge-IT login-social 1.0.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to take over any WordPress account. The password-reset flow accepts requests without a reset key or identity check, while third-party sign-in data creates sessions without verification. No credentials or user interaction are required, and compromise of an administrator account grants control of the WordPress site.
