Unauthenticated disclosure and forced restore via exposed secret
Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026
Information exposure in BoldGrid Total Upkeep before 1.17.3 allows remote attackers to read backup details and force a full site restore. Emergency-restore metadata exposes the cron_secret that authorizes restoration because an earlier protection never took effect in distributed plugin copies. Unauthenticated network access is sufficient; a forced restore overwrites the live site's files and database with backup contents.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
