Authenticated secret disclosure via missing superuser checks
Published Jul 19, 2026 · Updated Jul 19, 2026
Improper authorization in MoviePilot 2.13.0 through 2.13.5 allows remote authenticated users to read system settings and secrets. Application API handlers accepted any valid token through verify_token instead of requiring the active-superuser dependency. A non-admin account is sufficient to obtain configuration secrets and sensitive system information without modifying data or interrupting service.
