Stale data retention via failed reset handling
Published Jul 19, 2026 · Updated Jul 19, 2026
Improper exception handling in hunvreus devpush 0.4.0 through 0.4.6 lets remote authenticated users retain stale data via a failed reset. The reset_storage function in app/workers/tasks/storage.py records a volume or database reset error but still sets storage.status to active. Team-admin or owner access plus an induced permissions or deletion error is required; later operations can continue using data that the reset appeared to clear.
