Unauthenticated admin action execution via unwrapped AJAX views
Published Jul 19, 2026 · Updated Jul 19, 2026
Missing authentication in newpanjing SimpleUI 2026.01.13 allows remote attackers to execute configured Django admin actions. AjaxAdmin.get_urls registers callback and get_layer without admin_site.admin_view, while callback resolves a POSTed _action with self.get_action and executes it against a selected queryset. Exposure requires a project to register an AjaxAdmin subclass with actions; resulting access can export, modify, or delete application data.
