Browser script execution via reflected input
Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026
Reflected XSS in IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.5 and 9.0 allows remote attackers to execute script through crafted web input. IBM has not published the affected endpoint, parameter, or encoding failure that reflects untrusted input into an HTML response. Exploitation requires a user to open attacker-controlled content, allowing script execution in that user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
