Unauthenticated SQL injection via unsanitized ID parameter
Published Jul 18, 2026 · Updated Jul 18, 2026
SQL injection in edit_room1.php in SourceCodester Class and Exam Timetabling System 1.0 and 1.php allows remote attackers to access its database. The script places the unauthenticated GET id value directly into a MySQL query without cleaning or validation, enabling boolean-, error-, time-, and UNION-based injection. No login is required, and successful exploitation allows unauthorized reading, modification, or deletion of database records and service interruption.
