Authenticated file access via basename-only approval
Published Jul 18, 2026 · Updated Jul 18, 2026
Improper authorization in GoClaw 3.13.0 through 3.13.2 allows remote authenticated users to read or write workspace files. ExecApprovalManager.CheckCommand treats sort and grep as safe solely by basename, ignoring options that make sort write output or grep read recursively. Exploitation requires operator-level API access, the exec tool, and full security with on-miss approval; successful commands bypass the expected human decision point.
