Authenticator secret disclosure via unfiltered configuration copy
Published Jul 17, 2026 · Updated Jul 17, 2026
Information disclosure in Red Hat build of Keycloak allows remote authenticated users to retrieve authenticator secrets through an admin endpoint. ModelToRepresentation.toRepresentation copies the authenticator configuration map without filtering or masking entries that provider metadata marks as secret. The view-realm role is sufficient; raw reCAPTCHA keys are returned by the configuration endpoint and can also enter admin events.
