CVE-2026-16095Network attack vector

Memory corruption via ct_tcp_timeout out-of-bounds write

Published Jul 18, 2026 · Updated Jul 18, 2026

Out-of-bounds write in Shibby Tomato 1.28 RT-N5x MIPSR2 Build 124 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt process memory. The setup_conntrack function in /sbin/rc uses attacker-controlled ct_tcp_timeout data in a write that exceeds the destination buffer's bounds. Low-privilege network access is required; successful exploitation corrupts process memory, while public evidence does not demonstrate code execution.
