CVE-2026-16081Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Dashboard takeover via unchecked first-run password setup

Published Jul 18, 2026 · Updated Jul 18, 2026

Cross-site request forgery in Sipeed PicoClaw 0.2.0 through 0.2.9 allows remote attackers to claim an uninitialized launcher dashboard. The public POST /api/auth/setup handler persists a supplied password without validating Origin, Referer, or Sec-Fetch-Site provenance. Exploitation requires an uninitialized launcher and a local user who visits attacker-controlled content; success grants control of privileged launcher functions.
