Authenticated internal-service access via unchecked plugin URLs
Published Jul 17, 2026 · Updated Jul 17, 2026
Server-side request forgery in AstrBot 4.25.0 through 4.25.2 allows remote authenticated users to access internal services. The update_plugin and update_all_plugins handlers pass attacker-controlled download_url, download_urls, and proxy values into outbound requests without validating the destination. A Dashboard JWT is required; successful requests can reach loopback, private-network, or metadata endpoints from the AstrBot server and expose returned data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
