Unauthenticated payment bypass via client-controlled ticket price
Published Aug 6, 2026 · Updated Aug 6, 2026
Payment bypass in WPEvently Pro before 5.0.3 allows remote attackers to obtain completed paid-event bookings and valid tickets for free. The native checkout's mep_native_checkout AJAX action trusts the client-supplied ticket_price instead of deriving the event's configured price. Exposure requires the free plugin and Pro add-on, a paid event, and native payment mode, which is selected when WooCommerce payment is disabled.
