Unauthenticated file deletion via exposed nonce
Published Aug 6, 2026 · Updated Aug 6, 2026
File deletion in CodeDropz Drag and Drop Multiple File Upload for WooCommerce before 1.1.8 allows remote attackers to erase staged uploads. The wc_upload_nonce AJAX action returns the dnd_wc_ajax_upload nonce to anonymous requests, and the deletion handler treats that nonce as its sole authorization control. With WooCommerce and the plugin active, an attacker needs only a staged file name to irreversibly delete a pending order attachment from tmp_uploads.
