Remote code execution via unverified Hub package installation
Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026
Code injection in WPMU DEV Dashboard before 5.0.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP through a signed Hub install request. The front-end wpmudev-hub handler installs and activates attacker-hosted ZIP packages without integrity verification and accepts reused request identifiers without nonce validation. Possession of the site's account-wide WPMU DEV API key permits request forgery; a captured valid request permits only replay of its original action.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
