CVE-2026-16015Public exploit

Unauthenticated task execution via unguarded create_task route

Published Jul 17, 2026 · Updated Jul 17, 2026

Authentication bypass in Poco-AI poco-claw 0.5.0 through 0.5.4 allows remote attackers to enqueue tasks as any chosen user. The POST /api/v1/tasks create_task route accepts user_id without an authentication dependency and passes it to BackendClient, which attaches the internal token when creating a backend session. Reachability requires access to the host-published executor-manager port; successful requests create sessions and schedule tasks under a forged identity.
