Incorrect report results via concurrent request race
Published Jul 17, 2026 · Updated Jul 17, 2026
Race condition in IBM Cognos Analytics build 12.1.3-2606251736 allows remote authenticated users to receive incorrect report results. The Agentic AI assistant handles simultaneous identical UI actions without sufficient synchronization, causing one user to receive an incorrect summary while the other receives a processing error. Exploitation requires two authenticated users to submit the same report-related action simultaneously, and the reported impact is limited to incorrect summaries or processing failures.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
