Internal service and file access via unsanitized URLs
Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026
SSRF and local file access in SGLang 0 through 0.5.15 allow remote attackers to reach internal services and probe local files. The multimodal chat-completions media helpers pass unvalidated image, audio, and video URLs to HTTP fetching or local-path reads without private-address filtering or a destination allowlist. Reachability requires a multimodal inference route; valid media can be disclosed through model output, while other files expose an existence oracle.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
