Restricted parent-group disclosure via unredacted hierarchy search
Published Jul 16, 2026 · Updated Jul 16, 2026
Authorization bypass in Keycloak services across affected Red Hat products allows remote authenticated users to read restricted group details. The administrative groups endpoint builds a search-result hierarchy without redacting a parent group that the caller cannot access directly. FGAP v2, query-groups permission, and view access to a child group are required; exposed data includes parent UUIDs, names, attributes, and role mappings.
