Authenticated SQL injection via unparameterized taxonomy query
Published Aug 5, 2026 · Updated Aug 5, 2026
SQL injection in Relevanssi 4.27.1 and earlier and Relevanssi Premium 2.30.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The Admin Search AJAX handler parses its URL-encoded args parameter into WP_Query data, then interpolates a text-sanitized taxonomy value into a term-taxonomy SQL lookup without parameterization. Contributor-level edit_posts capability is required; time-based blind queries disclose database contents without reported write or service-interruption impact.
