CVE-2026-15927Network attack vector

Internal-service access via unvalidated mirror hostname

Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026

SSRF in Red Hat Quay and Mirror Registry for Red Hat OpenShift allows remote authenticated users to reach internal services through mirror workers. The repository-mirror POST and PUT handlers in endpoints/api/mirror.py pass external_reference to Skopeo without validate_external_registry_url(). Repository-administrator access and enabled repository mirroring are required; a crafted hostname can expose internal services or cloud metadata.
